Sunday in the village

Breakfast at 5 pm in the velvet armchair all by myself, my own little tradition ☕️ I find it to be the best way to set the tone for the rest of the day.

Oatmeal & homemade apple sauce

Another good habit that I aim to do everyday is to take our kitten for a walk, he’s too young to go out by himself. So I just came in from a barefoot stroll with Dwight. The whole world around us was complete silence, I love that. In the vicarage open garden he played in the old gnarled apple trees. So peaceful just watching him doing his thing. And I found an apple, a large green apple and a pear. A small morning gift only for me.

Beauty

The grass still wet from the morning mist, against my bare feet. As he was exploring his world I sat down on the stairs and quietly sang a hymn I carry close to my heart. Lyrics below the link ♥️

Lyrics of the hymn: In your hands God

1. God, in your hands I rest in faith, resting in your warmth and your peace. Every broken heart, every damaged soul embrace you in grace and make it whole. I want to live close, close to you, my God, in your care the soul finds peace. I want to live close, close to you, my God, in your love my love can grow.

2. God, in your hands I rest in prayer, the faith of joy and the seeds of hope grow. You have reconciled us: the death of Jesus Christ saves us from life in abundance. I want to live close, close to you, my God, in your care the soul finds peace. I want to live close, close to you, my God, in your love my love can grow.

3. God, in your hands I cry out, you share the crying until it ends. God, you feel the evil, in your own body. That you share the pain gives me hope. I want to live close, close to you, my God, in your care the soul finds peace. I want to live close, close to you, my God, in your love my love can grow.

4. God, in your hands I lie down. When I go to rest, you are with me. Your hands carry me through space and time. I remain in the light of your peace. I want to live close, close to you, my God, in your care the soul finds peace. I want to live close, close to you, my God, in your love my love can grow.

Bye for now sweet diary, and blessings for you my friends xx
